Send off at WA HD HQ I was given a fantastic surprise when we arrived at Perth airport-my sister Kylie and her husband Dave had driven down from Broome to join us-a fair few tears were shed, after not having seen them for 5 months. On Thursday we received a very warm welcome at the 'Niche' conference room at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, where Huntington's Association Western Australia hosted a wine and cheese afternoon.It was a relaxing time and we were able to meet a number of very friendly people. A raffle was held and many of my family won the prizes!It was inspiring to meet so many courageous people.A big thank you to Linda, Glenn, Sam, Ethan and Kalen for allowing us to take over their house in Perth,to Trishie and Bern for driving the campervan from Melbourne to Perth, and also to Phil Box for driving us to Avalon airport for the start of the ride.
