DAY FIVE

After a chilly start, we left Norseman at 7am. Annabelle has been riding the first and last 15km with me everyday, which has made the ride go a little quicker! Today was a long day-192km! My original plan was to ride until 20km outside of Balladonia, then get the campervan the rest of the way, and return in the morning to do the final 20km. Even though I was stuffed, I pushed myself to make it all the way. Along the way Mum spotted the first 'live' kangaroo! We got a room at the Balladonia hotel/motel- the nicest so far but also the most expensive! Balladonia is well and truly on the Nullabor and as a result we have no phone reception (so Scottie if you can't get hold of us that's why!) We should hopefully have reception in a few days as we head closer to the SA border. I did a 40min warm down whilst Annabelle ran next to me, then had a dip in the motel pool. Pasta tonight cooked in the campervan, then an early night for a change! We head to Caiguna tomorrow-182km away!
